How To Successfully Beat Health Anxiety

When Health Anxiety Takes Over

Actually you may feel exaggerated emotions, therefore perceptions tainted more by the element of fear. This is what is going on in your brain at the moment. It could be danger in social events or yourself or your marriage or relationship. These perceptions are coming from a part of you that’s patternized and habitual.2

Understanding Your Symptoms

That might be mental fatigue—feeling like you have to one foot in front of the other thought. I’m sure you know what I’m talking about; if you’re consciously trying to keep up with someone who’s speaking quickly, or I’m trying to go through my to-do list at the same rate as everyone else, then that’s easy.

Many of us struggling with health anxiety have the lot of emotional fatigue. It is the fight between negative emotions centered on fear, and positive ones, and there is more fatigue and tension involved. You might be afraid of feeling and emotions because you don’t want to have to come back to panicky state or deepen in health anxiety.

The Power of Acceptance and Surrender

If you’re in need of rest and acceptance then don’t go into more complex approaches and techniques. So many of us have been deep into manifestation work, spiritual work, and mediation work that does help but not enough of us. At the moment, simply focus on taking care of yourself, and letting go of resistance.3

There are many acceptance and surrender tools that you can utilize to help in your health anxiety healing journey. When you learn that what’s with your body and mind are what they are, you surrender to what’s really happening… because you stop resisting.

Taming Your Thoughts

When you realize that this is all your symptoms and how your body is responding to them and all the issues with your mental body health — remember that this is not real you. This is just your lude self or little me going is what I can think its been programmed to do.

You can push further than the first reactions and begin to realize that this isn’t all happening to you, and you haven’t got to take it— you can choose to reframe what is happening with your body and mind. You can look at things from a different perspective, and that’s exactly what we need to do with our health anxiety: You start to learn how to see things from a more balanced and calm place.

Understanding Your Fatigue

It sounds like you may be feeling mental fatigue, mind you, this is incredibly draining. Let’s say when you’re trying to use up health anxiety, it seems like you’re trying to run after anyone who’s fast walking or ripping through your to do list faster than you and it’s difficult to do this and remain calm.

Many of us with health anxiety live with emotional fatigue. It’s this fight to move away from fear centered emotions with the other and you get more fatigue and tension. You may be afraid you might get dragged back into a panicky state or really deep health anxiety when experiencing feelings and emotions.

Physical Fatigue

Our bodies are supposed to relax when we’re laying down or asleep, but it seems that for us with our health anxiety, it’s when symptoms start to show up in full force. It’s seems like our bodies are shouting at us and we feel more anxious and more fearful than ever before.

But here’s the thing: We can learn to see these moments as threats or opportunities. Even if mind is frantically worrying and forecasting fears and worries we can choose to practice acceptance and surrender.

Memory Up to Its Old Tricks Again

Just remember that your symptoms and fears – even if they feel new – are just memories up to their old tricks again. These aren’t really threats, these are patterns that exist in your mind, and they’ve built up over time.4

If you find yourself starting to see things from this perspective, that’s when you start breaking the pattern of fear and anxiety. You may begin to see that you have an option on how you perceive what’s going on with your body and mind.
